Whats the process getting these passed as structural beams? So many stupid rules these days.

What beautiful timber!

Jayson Dehn you should get something like this done at yours 😉

How unique is this desk!
Made from our bowling alley table tops it creates a fantastic talking point. The timber is Rock Maple from Canada.

This bowling alley has an interesting history.
It started life on the upper floor of the Southern Cross Hotel in Melbourne in 1962. It was the first bowling alley of it's time and formed part of Melbourne's first modern 'International' hotel.
During the 80's it was removed in sections and relocated to a now closed bowling alley on Princess Highway in Oakleigh.
To add to the interest, rumour has it The Beatles played on this alley during their stay at the hotel in the 60's!

Our customer, Ross Widdows from Grain and Sass has done a great job on this desk and added a nice touch with a mock up pic of Ringo Starr. These tops were trimmed down a bit and off cuts to be made into shelves. Check out his Instagram and website for more pics of his beautiful work.

Table Tops are $800 each
2.7 - 3.0 m long
1.0 m wide approx.

Ideal for desk, dining table, bench tops, bar etc
12 to choose from.
